Sitting above Balmoral Beach, this three-level home features living spaces on the top floor, offering stunning southerly views of the harbor. 

The project involved innovative construction methods, including raising the existing house to facilitate a large excavation beneath it. This approach allowed for the integration of a new brick and concrete build that seamlessly connects with the original structure. 

Utilising over 30,000 recycled bricks, the design incorporates sculpted highlight windows that capture sunlight throughout the day. Bedrooms and bathrooms open to lush courtyards, while the muted interior palette creates a tranquil retreat from Sydney’s vibrant summers.
